They come in two types, disposable paper ones that use a strong adhesive and silicone ones that can be washed and reused.

In some cases these may easily be removed, if desired.

Push-up Bra.
Push-up Bra:
Push up bras are structured in a way that lifts the breasts and pushes them closer together, enhancing the cleavage. The Wonderbra is a very well known brand of push up bra but there are many others. The padding in the bras are mostly either foam, gel or rubber. This padding is different from padded bras in its positioning, padded bras is centered under the breast and merely lifts them while push up bras have the padding at the side to push the breasts up and inwards. Its this padding positioning which gives push up bras such full cleavage.

Strapless Bra.
Strapless Bra:
Designed for wearing with clothes which reveal the shoulders. A very technically challenging designs they rely completely on the strength on the material around the bust, the designs of the under-wire and the width and tightness of the band. The most reliable strapless bras have a wide band around the back, boning under the arms, deep under-wires at the front, silicone strips along the inside to reduce slippage. Some larger size strapless bras also put boning in the cups for more support. Different from other under-wires strapless under-wires are taller and curve in to encompass the breast more. Even with all this sophisticated design strapless bras are still a little uncomfortable and can slip down during an active day or evening.

T-Shirt Bras are made without any raised seams or decoration, this is to allow the bras to be worm with tight shirts without the bra being obviously visible. The bra does not only covers, supports and elevates the breasts, but also shapes the wearer’s figure. The degree of which the bra frames the breasts varies between style, functionality, fashion and fabric. It is important to know the types of bras available so that you can pick the right one for the right time so as to protect the general health of your breasts. It is important choosing your types of bra, that designs and their tunctions.

I would like to add one more bra type, it is male bra that using by men. Hard to imagine that but it is true. Bras worn by men with gynecomastia, usually to flatten and conceal rather than lift and support.

The main distinction between padded bras and push-up bras that incorporate padding is whether the padding is centred under each breast to simply lift them, or is centred outside the centre of each breast such that the padding pushes the breasts inwards.

My best is underwire bra, designed to give extra support and endurance. They have a wire, metal or plastic, running under each cup to provide rigid support to the bust.

very informative, interesting and enjoyable sharing, i would like to know more about crazy, innovative bras

wow some kind bras there I had never even heard of before, thought I knew them all.

The best kind of bra to hide nipples is a t-shirt bra. Some even come with extra padding to hide nipples if you need them. Some bras have cups that are made of shaped foam, and I think you will find any of these will help. But it is very important to make sure the cup is the correct size. They are all sized by the cup size, but some of them have cups that are larger than you think.

Softcup bra also written sport bra types. It is my favorite bra types that has no underwire support in the cups. Rather they rely on the strength of the underband to provide support to the bust.

The average woman owns around 15 bras at any given time; at least that’s what a new study has shown. In the same study, it is also revealed that most women spend average over three thousand dollars worth of brassieres in a lifetime. That is how significant bras are to women. Granted that most women probably have around 10 to 16 bras in their underwear drawers, there are several types of bras that might not be in your current collection. Bras are designed to perform a specific function, provide the desired fit and shape, and bring together a woman’s outfit. The fact of the matter is, no single bra design can accommodate every need you may have for it. As you see in that list of different types of bras, there are designs out there that are intended to provide a specific look and function you may find rather useful.

Most common bra type is t-shirt bra. T-shirt bras are, by far, one of the most popular and widely-used bra styles. Designed without any raised seams (seamless), T-shirt bras are the perfect everyday brassiere and are one of the most common types you will find in every woman’s underwear drawer.

Minimiser bras are great for clothes that look good with a sleek look, or to help you fit into clothes that are a bit too tight across the bust. Clothes are generally designed to suit a ‘standard shape’ which can make it very hard for large breasted women to buy tailored clothes that fit well. If you have had this issue then definitely give a minimiser bra a go. They can also make the difference between being able to wear a button shirt without it gaping open and not. Another tip for dealing with a button shirt that’s peaking open is to use a small piece of fashion tape to secure it between the buttons.

There are also bra accessories, i want to say about it.

Bra extender: Bra extenders are a great way to get a longer life out of bras that have become too tight through the band. You get them as 1, 2, 3 or 4 hook options to fit different bras. They usually come in black, white and beige to blend in with the most common bra colours. To use them simply attach it to one end of the back fastening on your bra then put it on and do it up as normal.

Bra inserts: Bra inserts are also known as cookies or bra padding. Silicone ones are sometimes called chicken fillets due to their resemblance to them. Often they are promoted as a non-surgical option to increase your bra size. As well as giving you the appearance of larger breasts they can be worn with a push-up bra to increase cleavage.

Bra strap connector / holder: You will find these with a variety of names, bra strap convertor, bra strap connector and bra strap holder are the most common. They can be worn in the back or front of the bra to hold the straps together.

Bra strap cushions: bra strap cushions or pads slip onto your existing bra straps to provide comfort if they dig into your shoulders or can help stop straps from falling off your shoulders. Before you use them first make sure you have your bra straps set to the right length, most of the support in a bra comes from the band around your body, not the straps.

Breast Pads: breast pads or nursing pads are for women who are breastfeeding. You put them in your bra over your nipples to stop milk leaking out onto your clothes. You can get disposable or washable pads. If you get machine-washable pads use a laundry bag when you wash them to keep them together so they don’t get lost through your clothes.

Girls who dont want to use bra, i am one of them :) You prefer alternative bra types. Bra alternatives, when a bra won’t work with what you are wearing or you just don’t want to wear one. Find out about the alternatives that can help you. There list you will find this kinds of alternatives for your breasts.

Breast lift tape are specially shaped pieces of tape that are designed to lift your breasts when you are going braless. They go on the tops of your breasts and lift up instead of supporting from underneath. They’re useful for outfits where you wouldn’t be able to wear a normal bra but still want some support and lift.

Built-in - shelf bra: Some tops have hidden support built into them. The most common type is called a shelf bra (not to be confused with a shelf bra that is a cup-less bra). A second layer of fabric is sewn underneath the singlet that stops just under the bust and is pulled in with a line of elastic (see illustration below). There are no separate cups, the support comes from the stretchy fabric and the elastic that goes under the bust.

Nipple covers: Nipple covers are also known as petals. They are used to hide the shape of nipples and give breasts a smooth line under clothing. They have adhesive on them to stay on and can be one-use disposable or washable and reusable.

Taping your breasts, breast taping: There a few different reasons for taping your breasts, each will require a different method. Possible reasons to tape your breasts: To lift and reduce movement when you can’t wear a bra. Taping to flatten your chest. Used by women who are dressing as a man, also sometimes used by dancers to reduce movement. Taping to create cleavage. For when you have small or no breasts, it is sometimes used by transgender women to give the appearance of breasts.

Why Women Aren’t Wearing Bras Anymore, here is why: new research is showing that women do not need to wear bras. In fact, there is now evidence showing that not wearing a bra is better for your overall health. A 15-year study in France shows that there is no health benefits to wearing a bra and that our breasts are actually better off without them. Going braless is not an immediate option for many women. There is the work environment, the need for social acceptance, and a fear of learning to accept our bodies as they naturally are.

Only girls who never wear bras know to be true, first you know what true freedom feels like. There is actually nothing better than a sunny day, walking down the street wearing a tank top, the gentle breeze gracing your breasts. Secondly, how full your bank account is because you're not wasting money on bras. Then, you don't have to deal with guys awkwardly trying to take off your bra. Enjoy it.

Girls don't like to wear the bra they thinking that it's not comfortable to wear anymore. some girls thought that there is no health benefits to wearing a bra and many of us are feel better off without them. Instead of perfect shape in bra many girls don't like to wear a bra. They're more comfort without it.

Boobs that are on my chest and not my belly. When I was 12 my sister used to tease me about being Flat. So I prayed and God did Blessed it so my cup over flows and my back hurts with out a bra. Plus the wind ouch.

Bra Pro's:
- they keep the girls from bouncing around, especially while working out,
- no embarrising 'headlights' under clothing,
- provides support to large breasts.

Bra Con's:
- uncomfortable, especially the underwire types,
- each brand fits differently,
- it can be expensive.

What is your bra type? There are no absolutes on this question. It depends on your on your personality, body, clothes on your top and what kind of enhancements you have made to it. Some women where bras when they don't need to because it makes them feel more comfortable. Some women don't where bras when they should because it makes them feel more comfortable. Some women don't need any support because of breast enhancement surgery.
